CJ's grass fed beef is proud to bring you organically raised, hormone free, all natural grass fed beef. We believe in the highest standards of handling and care our beef is exclusively raised on our family farm. Our beef is free of any antibiotics, steroids, growth hormones or animal by-products. Our Shorthorn and Angus cattle are 100% grass-fed and have superior quality meat from ribbon winning bloodlines. Shorthorn is well known for its high marbling traits provides the highest quality grass-fed meat.

They spend their entire lives on our farm on the greenest of pastures during the summer and fed only the highest quality of hay when the grass no longer holds the nutrition needed. We grow a variety of grasses and harvest all our own hay to provide our animals with a balance of natural nutrients essential for maintaining good health.

 The fat has a naturally creamy yellow color due to the high vitamin A & E content, and is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) – known anti-oxidants with cancer-fighting properties. Buying locally produced beef has many benefits. Buying meat in bulk costs significantly less per pound that shopping at the grocery store, our custom meat allows the opportunity for one to purchase larger portions of higher quality beef at a lower price.

We do a few small harvests in the Spring when grass is lush and the steers are at their prime, with a mobile processing unit that harvests our animals on our farm to ensure minimal stress during processing. We then age our beef for a minimum of two weeks to enhance the depth of flavor. The meat is then custom cut and wrapped at a local butcher. They offer a large selection of cuts that you are able to customize, you will be able to choose the size and quantity that fits your needs. We are here to help walk you through the process of choosing which cuts are best for you.

We offer quantities in 1/2 or whole beef. We strive for our beef to hang around 750 Lb

Paid to CJ's River Ranch:

$5.50 per pound with a $450 deposit per 1/2 beef

Deposits payable via check sent to P.O. Box 268 Silvana, WA 98287 or card under Reserve tab.

 

Paid to Butcher: (Prices dependent on the butcher)

$200 processing fee per head (split according to amount ordered)

$0.95 per pound for cut and wrap
